"I don't see why Rigby is acting like a crybaby. He should have seen it coming," Mordecai said to himself as he got comfortable.
"Oh, that's right. He just doesn't think straight..." Mordecai said while facing the wall next to his bed. "He's always up to something..."
After minutes of wallowing and mumbling about Rigby, Mordecai began to remember the fun times that he had had with Margaret. How they laughed with each other while holding hands at the fancy restaurant downtown, swinging back and forth and having a good time.
"Those laughs...those memories.." Mordecai clinched his covers with his hands and a tear rolled down his left cheek. His eyes were now burning with the salt water that was now pouring from his eyes.Your vows of silence fall all over
The look in your eyes makes me crazy
I feel the darkness break upon her
I'll take you over if you let me
(You did this)
Tidal waves they rip right through me
Tears from eyes worn cold and sad
Pick me up now, I need you so bad...
Wiping the tears from his eyes, Mordecai rolled over on his back, and ventured off into his dream land; a land that was probably more happy than the world he was in right now.
And on that same night, Mordecai dreamed about his love, Margaret. They were having the usual fun; laughing, giggling, holding each other close, smiling, etc. All of that lovey dovey stuff.
"Margaret," Mordecai began as he knelt down onto one knee, "Will you marry me?"
Margaret gasped as Mordecai opened a black box, revealing the ring which was covered in diamonds.
"Mordecai," she said stunned, "...I - "
"Hey Mordecai!" A voice yelled from the distance. It was Rigby's voice. He came to sabotage the proposal.
"I don't think so!" Rigby yelled as he ran towards the couple with a crowbar. He put the crowbar between Mordecai and Margaret, who were now holding each other. He ripped them apart and grabbed Mordecai, dragging him to the cart.
"Stay here," Rigby said while tying up Mordecai.
"Let me go! Dude, what's wrong with you?!"
"Shut it!" Rigby said as he walked up to Margaret.
"NOOOOO!!" Mordecai yelled out as Rigby swung the crowbar at Margaret.
Then...everything went black.
Mordecai woke up, breathing in and out rapidly. He rubbed his head as he took the consideration that it was only a dream.
"What a nightmare..." He said while laying back. His eyelids were heavy and were slightly burning due to how tired he was. Once again, he got comfortable and fell back asleep.
